Simulator-Based Vocational Training in Schools and Communities

SANLAB heavy equipment simulators are used in vocational schools and in community training projects in Türkiye. These stories come from Kaman, Gaziantep and Haymana, where simulator training opened a way into skilled work.

Kaman: an award-winning simulator training project

The “Simulator-Based Vocational Training Project for Bringing Disadvantaged Groups into Economic Life”, prepared by the Kaman District Directorate of National Education and run by Kaman Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School, received a regional award in the Innovation in Education Awards for the 2015-2016 school year. 2,581 projects applied, 303 received site visits and 94 were given regional awards.

Gaziantep: 30 women trained as forklift operators

In Gaziantep, 30 women became forklift operators with SANLAB simulators and started working in the Gaziantep Organized Industrial Zone. The social responsibility project was carried out together with TÜBİTAK MARTEK, the Gaziantep Chamber of Industry, KADEM, OSBÜK, Gaziantep University and Gaziantep Teknopark, the Governorship of Gaziantep, Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality and SANLAB, and it is ready to be applied in all 81 provinces of Türkiye.
