ASELSAN: 6DOF Motion Platforms for Turret and RCWS Testing

What ASELSAN tests on SANLAB motion platforms
A turret or a remote controlled weapon station has to keep its line of sight while the vehicle or vessel underneath it moves. On a 6DOF motion platform that movement is reproduced in the factory: the platform drives the same roll, pitch, heave and yaw profile under the system every time, so stabilization and tracking can be checked against identical input before the system is fitted to a vehicle.
ASELSAN uses SANLAB motion platforms in two ways: for turret system testing, and for product validation testing right after production, so systems are checked under motion as soon as they are built.
