Unreal Engine Integration: SANLAB’s 6DOF Emulator

SANLAB has developed a custom-built emulator that enables seamless integration between its Six Degrees of Freedom (6DOF) motion platforms and Unreal Engine, one of the world’s leading real-time 3D creation tools.

Designed with a user-focused interface, the emulator facilitates real-time and highly accurate motion feedback, opening new possibilities for developers, engineers, and simulation professionals working on complex immersive systems.

Precision Motion Across Diverse Applications

The integration allows for enhanced coordination between digital environments and physical motion systems, supporting applications ranging from virtual production and cinematic simulation to industrial training and defense technologies.

SANLAB’s 6DOF motion platforms—featuring six mechanical actuators and scalable load capacities from 50 kg to 25 tons—are engineered for high-fidelity motion across demanding use cases.

With this new development, SANLAB continues to provide robust tools for building realistic and responsive virtual experiences, supporting a wide range of industries in achieving more dynamic and precise simulations.
